The Rules of Ghost
General
Players take turns adding letters to a growing word fragment, trying not to be the one to complete a valid word. The one that does loses that round of the game. Each fragment must be the beginning of an actual word.
Minimum Length
Players cannot lose until after three letters have been entered. eg. AND, THE, etc. are OK. (Hence the shown '-[Safe]-' text until the fourth turn in the game.)
Timer
Players have 30 seconds to add a letter to the word fragment or else they lose the round.
Challenging
If the player believes that their opponent has added a letter to the word fragment from which no word can be made, that player can challenge their opponent's last turn and demand to know what word their opponent had in mind (if any).
If the opponent responds with a valid word, the player who enacted the challenge loses the round. If the word is not valid, the opponent loses the round.
Press the 'Give Up' button to lose the round.
Proper nouns are not allowed.
